For independent writers
Write for Byte Bound Report
We publish pieces from writers who actually use the tools and gadgets they write about — not roundups assembled from other people's reviews. A byline here reaches readers actively comparing tools and making buying decisions, not passively scrolling.
Topics we accept — and don't
We accept
- Hands-on reviews of AI tools, apps, or gadgets you've actually used
- Practical how-to guides and workflow breakdowns
- Comparisons grounded in real testing, not spec-sheet summaries
- AI-assisted coding and developer tooling
- Business software and productivity tooling for small teams
- Original data, benchmarks, or testing you ran yourself
We don't
- Crypto, gambling, adult content, pharma
- Unedited AI drafts submitted as your own writing
- Press releases or content that reads like a product ad
- Anything already published elsewhere, including your own blog
Guidelines
- Reflects your own firsthand experience and voice — not a generic rewrite.
- 800-1,800 words. Specific and practical beats broad and generic.
- Include your own screenshots or properly licensed images.
- No more than 2 relevant outbound links.
- Reads as informational, not promotional.
- Exclusive to Byte Bound Report — not published anywhere else, before or after.
How to submit
Pitch the angle before you write the piece — a 2-3 line summary, a working title, and a link to something you've written. We respond to every serious pitch.
